Fenty Skin Review – Normal to Dry Skin

Hello my lovelies, hope you are doing well? In this post, we will be discussing Fenty Skin which I have talked about on my Instagram and Youtube but it also needs a space on my blog and we are going to be discussing packaging and price, texture, ingredient, an overall review of all the products. All these products are vegan, cruelty, and gluten-free and for all skin types.

TOTAL CLEANSE’R REMOVAL-IT-ALL CLEANSER

Packaging & Price: This retail for $25 on the Fenty Skin website which I think is a fair price as it is 145ml. I love the color of choice which is purple and the tube is made with 40% PCR (check Fenty site to see how to recycle) as RiRi is very earth-conscious. It has a twist knob at the top and you press to release the product and twist to close it back which I think was clever until I started using it (don’t worry I will share more light on why this is).

Fenty Skin Cleanser

Texture & Fragrance: I will describe this as a thick creamy orange color and it lathers so well which I love so little goes a long way. It has a strong fragrance which is hard to describe but smell luxurious and she describes it as it smells like cherries and coconut so if your skin is sensitive to fragrance please do not try this product at all as mine isn’t It wasn’t an issue.

Fenty Skin Cleanser

Ingredient: As this is a 2 in 1 product (makeup removal & cleanser). It contains Ginkgo biloba which is said to clarify the skin and remove oil and it is commonly used in ancient Chinese healing techniques. Another key ingredient is the Barbados cherry which is high in vitamin C and this helps with the brightening of the skin. There are also some antioxidants such as Fig and Green tea which is to help defend against environmental stressors and lastly, another key one is Quince which helps your skin during dry climate.

FAT WATER PORE-REFINING TONER SERUM

Packaging & Price: This retail for $28 on the Fenty Skin website which I think is a fair price as it is 150ml. I love the color of choice which is purple knob and clear plastic so you can see the product and it has some sort of bubbles inside and the tube is made with 40% PCR (check Fenty site to see how to recycle) as RiRi is very earth-conscious. It has a twist knob at the top and you press to release the product and twist to close it back which I think was clever until I started using it (don’t worry I will share more light on why this is) which is the same as the cleanser.

Texture & Fragrance: I will describe this as a clear not to thick or watery it a decent consistency for a toner/serum. It has a strong fragrance which is hard to describe but smell luxurious again if your skin is sensitive to fragrance please do not try this product.

Fenty Skin – Fat Water

Ingredient: As this is a 2 in 1 product (toner & serum). It contains Niacinamide which is said to reduce dark spots, even skin tone, and fight shine which is also a lot of skincare guru favorite ingredient. Just like the cleanser it also contains Barbados cherry which is high in vitamin C and this helps with the brightening of the skin. It contains Witch hazel water which a lot of skincare guru was not a fan off either am I because I have a normal to dry skin as this reduces oil and I don’t have much of it. Just like the cleanser, it has Fig and Green tea as well and cactus flower to help hydrate the skin and Japanese raisin tree to help detoxify the skin.

HYDRA VIZOR INVISIBLE MOISTURIZER

Packaging & Price: This retail for $35 on the Fenty Skin website which I think is a bit pricey as it is 150ml and the refill retail for $30. I love the color of choice as well which is purple the same as others mentioned above. It has a twist knob at the bottom and you press to release the product and twist to close it back which I think was clever for this one and I don’t have any complaints.

Fenty Skin Hydra Vizor

Ingredient: As this is a 2 in 1 product (moisturizer & Sunscreen SPF 30). It also contains Niacinamide which is said to reduce dark spots, even skin tone, and fight shine just like fat water. it contains few hydrating ingredients such as Baobab, hyaluronic acid & Aloe (which I love), and Kalahari melon which itself also an antioxidant and has some vitamins in it. All these ingredients in this product are meant to give your skin a healthy look and glow which I am all about.

OVERALL THOUGHTS

Let’s start with some of my least favorites things about these products. At first, I liked the idea of the twist knob but after using it for a while I will say I am not a fan at all just because you have to keep pressing hard to release the product and then they leave the extra product out when you twist the knob back to close. It is like toothpaste and can be a little messy and also I notice when I have makeup on my hand and grab the cleanser bottle there is always makeup transfer and it hard to take it off. Another mix feeling about the cleanser as it is a 2 in 1, I notice when you use it to wash out makeup you have to do this 2 to 3 times depending on how heavy the makeup is but when you use a warm damp cloth it wipes the makeup out so easily. Although, I will still advise you double cleanse just to make up your skin is extra clean. On to the good, I like the Hydra Vizor it does what it says even though I do not like the price that much I still think it is decent. I do like the twist knob at the bottom instead of the top and the fact that you can refill it. Out of all the product, the only thing I will be repurchasing is the Hydra Vizor just because it leaves my face dewy and bouncy and it contains SPF 30.  I got the 3 which was a set at $75 and it took 9 days to arrive and I can see she has a mini set for $40 so do check it out.

Comment below which product sounds interesting to you and want to try and also let me know you thought if you have tried Fenty skin as well girl…
