Bardot African Print Dress

Hello my lovelies, hope you are enjoying the sun? I mean it’s so hot I don’t even feel like leaving my house lol.

Lets catch up a bit hehe; it was my birthday over a week ago and all I did was sit my behind at home listen to music all day. A friend of mine came over which was nice to have company and have some girl chat. It was also my boyfriends birthday; yes we were born exactly same day and year but definitely not the same time that will just be super weird hehe. My friend left and I went to watch wonder woman with my boyfriend at the cinema which I can say it’s a dope movie, if you have not seen it please go check it out.

On my birthday I wore this Bardot African prints which my mother brought from Nigeria. My mother has a thing of still thinking she can style me lol; I mean am not a child anymore and the funny thing is she doesn’t even ask for my size. Out of the numerous outfit’s she has brought over the years, I can say she got this one right and I absolutely love it.

I am not that girl you will see in prints often but I am working on it, let’s just say this is a start. I grew up with African prints in my household and I think I just got tired of it but now African prints are so influential in the fashion industry. So, I decided to shot this look for you to see.

I am wearing this purple African prints and I love the fact that it has pockets. I paired it up with my tallest heel and let me tell you this heel is not as uncomfortable as it looks and No I didn’t fall off hehe. I did my braids myself as well, yes your girl has got skill’s too, even though it took me the entire day. I really love this look and I enjoy shooting it as well.
