Ameliorate Body Lotion & Body Wash

Hello my lovelies, hope you are doing well and keeping safe? If you watch my vlog or or follow me on my stories you will know that I received a pr sample from a brand called Ameliorate. Juts like you this is my first time hearing about this brand but I was open to giving it a try just because of their message and wanted to see if it works for my skin as someone who had dry skin.

Today, we will be talking about the body lotion and body wash a bit more as I have used it for over two weeks and it almost finished but first let me give a back story about the brand. Ameliorate is a skincare brand whose mission to help people feel emancipated in their own skin and this body lotion is one of their well know product for treating Keratosis Pilaris which is when the skin becomes rough and bumpy. Like I said I have been using this for two weeks now so I can give you the real tea about this product.

AMELIORATE TRANSFORMING BODY LOTION 200ML

This is an everyday body lotion and it is said to smooth away bumps, soften and protect the skin while also moisturising the skin for 24 hours and it is light weight was well. The active ingredient in the product include Alpha Hydroxy Therapy which helps revive skin cells while still drawing moisture into the skin, Sweet Almond Oil which act as a skin softener and this protect the skin, increasing moisture and our unique LaH6 Skin Hydration Complex.

It is fragranced which I don’t mind and I and hold my hand up and say I am not a fan of the smell, however, the smell evaporate very quickly which makes me feel better. The texture I will describe as thick, creamy and slippery which is new to me because I have used any lotion like that expect as a body wash and the packaging is very clean and easy to read which is great.

Pros: I love the how it makes my skin feels and it sink into my skin so well and makes my skin feel moisturised. I love the fact that this can be used on toodlers from 3 years old because my son also have dry skin and this has helped a lot in increasing moisture on both our skin which I an so happy about.

Cons: I don’t like the smell and the best way to describe it is it smells very chemical like an hair relaxer odour but not as strong.

AMELIORATE NOURISHING BODY WASH 200ML

This body wash gently cleanses your skin without making it dry leaving it moisturised for up to 8 hours which I think its peferfect for people who don’t use body lotion. It contains natural Omega oils from Starflower and Camelina and LaH6 Skin Hydration Complex which gently cleanse, soften and moisturise the skin. It helps hydrate dry skin and helps leave normal skin soft and smooth.

It is fragranced, which I also don’t mind but I really like the smell which I will describe as very floral and fruity in a way and this calms me when washing. The texture I will describe as slightly thick and creamy and slippery which a lot of body wash are anyway.

Pros: I love the smell and how it foamy it is so a little goes a long way with this product and I love how the smell just relaxes me. It does make my skin feel soft which is a win in my book as well.

Cons: I have none this product is good.
