I was invited for the grand opening after going through a makeover and I was very impressed with how it looks. If you are a blogger you need to visit during warmer times because the outside sitting area is just magnificent. Let’s dive in.

Location

It is located in the city center which is perfect and FYI it is not far from an open car park and if you are visiting from 7pm all you need to pay is £4 for the whole night; Amazing right!? See the full address at the end of the post. It is about 5 minutes walk from the car park, so the location is just perfect.

Ambience

The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. I got in and I was shown around by a lovely lady because I haven’t been there before the transformation she went in-depth with what was before and what it is now. The decore in the pub was very chic and classy there was a lot of patterns everywhere from the walls to the floor, which I love. Gosh, can we talk about the bathroom! It is massive and fabulous and I really hope they keep it that way. She talked about a special room for an exclusive party which is fabulous by the way and it has its own balcony so you won’t be disturbed by what is happening in the main pub areas. I will give them a 9/10 in this section which I think it’s fair hehe.

Menu & Cost

They had drinks menu which is section into different categories from non-alcoholic which I went for, to the alcoholic, etc which you are familiar and so was the food menu. For drinks, I had the elderflower sherbet (£3.50) and I had crushed line and mint soda (£3.25) yes I had two and please bear in mind this was a gifted experience so I didn’t pay but the price is reasonable. I would advise you to go for the elderflower sherbet because it comes in the big glass and it took me a while to finish it which I don’t think I did because I had two and I wanted to taste both.

I didn’t have any stater because I went straight for the main dish and I went for the Eight-bone free-range lamb rack (39.95) which can be shared between two people and it was divine I even chew the bone just because of how tasty it was. For sides, I had crisp thyme baby potatoes (£3.50) this I love so so much and samphire & baby spinach (£3.50) which was okay not a fave. For dessert, I went for the ambassador’s melting chocolate & hazelnut bomb (£8.95) which I enjoyed but I wish I had gone for the home-baked chocolate brownie which looked amazing as it has been taken to some else table. I will give them a 9.5/10 in this section which I think it’s fair hehe.

Customer Service

From the minute I stepped into the minute I left everyone was so welcoming. They came so quickly to get my orders as soon as I sat down and the main dish arrived in about 15 minutes including the sides so I had a full table to my self. They come by every few minutes to check if you need anything even at the bar she explained the drinks that were non-alcoholic and told me which ones are best. I will give them a 9.5/10 in this section which I think it’s fair hehe.

Final thoughts
