Trying Out Face Mask x The BodyShop

Hello my lovelies, how are you doing today? It’s another The Body Shop products review today and this time I am talking about face mask which smells divine; if you haven’t seen my last beauty post please Click here to check it out.

Disclaimer: The BodyShop product was gifted for review so all thoughts and opinions are mine. It also contains affiliated links  Click here to read my disclaimer.

Even though they have sent me a few of their products I am only sharing the ones I truly love and recommending for you to try out; I don’t want to keep all the good stuff to myself as that’s is just selfish hehe. As the saying goes “there is love in Sharing” hence this post hehe. So, let’s get into it, shall we!!

Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow mask – £17.00

Processed with VSCO with a5 preset

This invigorating charcoal face mask job is to draws out impurities and refines the appearance of pores for healthy-looking skin with a glow that shows. It’s was sent with a facial mask brush for application which I think is genius.

Firstly, it has a good smell for a charcoal face mask. After applying it on my face it was very minty chai; my face hasn’t felt that much intense minty feeling in a minute but as it dried out the mintiness went off.

I personally think this is good for a person with combination to oily skin as my face got drier afterward (or maybe I put on too many layers I don’t know) as I have normal to dry skin so when buying this keep that in mind okurrrrrrr. Is it worth buying and trying out? definitely! if you are into a charcoal face mask or you want to try something new and the price is perfect for what you get. You only need to use it 2-3 times a week so this will last you ages.

Nicaraguan Coffee Intense Awakening Mask

Processed with VSCO with a5 preset

If you are a coffee lover or you just love the smell of coffee gets in here right now. This product is for you as it smells divine for someone who loves the coffee smell. This face mask job is to warm and gently exfoliates your skin to help reduce the signs of fatigue leaving skin feeling awakened, cleared of impurities, and looking more radiant and pores looking refined.

I will tell you this; it’s not as thick as the charcoal face mask and my face felt soft and hydrated. My skin definitely felt awakened that’s for sure and I can say it’s a keeper in my books hehe. There is no price for this on their website yet probably because it’s still brand new but I will link it to the title.

Chinese Ginseng & Rice Clarifying Polishing Mask

Processed with VSCO with v6 preset

The face mask job is to illuminate, even and revitalize your skin giving it a brighter and supple look. After trying this product (I got the 15ml) and I can say smells really good and a tiny bit minty on my skin but I do like the feeling after I wash my face as it feels smoother.

This product is mixed with rice and ginseng extracts from China and the sesame seed oil is from Nicaragua they also mentioned that it is contrived without mineral oil, silicone, paraffin, and paragons for all you skincare experts.

Please comment below if you know what that means as I am curious.

British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask

Processed with VSCO with v6 preset

This product is definitely my favorite out of all the bunch and a keeper for me and yes it does smell divine. This mask is imbued with rose petals, rose essence, rosehip oil from Chile, and aloe vera from Mexico.

Same as the Chinese rise it is contrived without mineral oil, silicone, paraffin, and paragons. This is a perfect product for someone with dry skin as it will leave your skin feeling replenished with moisture, smoothness giving you that dewy look.

My conclusion after using all products. All product are amazing and they all serve a really good purpose for your depending on what you want to get out of it. For me they are all worth investing as you can get the mini ones for £6 which is a really good price and for the application brush click here. Comment below which one you have tried or will be buying?

  3. I’ve never tried Body Shop masks before, but I have tried some skincare as well as their body products. The second mask sounds lovely, I am all about the hydration! My only worry would be about expiry dates, similar with Lush face masks. But I do like their new policy with recycling old plastic – I’m pretty sure you can take anything from any brand too!
