How to style Denim

“Fashion is mysterious, as a rule. Why are blue jeans a classic? You just hit on something that happens to be timeless and right.”
-Diane von Furstenberg
The truth of the matter is this is probably the simplest to style and I want to believe you are pro at it already because I know you have it in your closet. So, I am not bringing you something new or different.
Where has my manners gone hehe! Hi and welcome to my blog. Hope you are having a good day? Now back to the topic at hand I personally think you can wear denim however you choose but here are few ideas on how I styled mine.

Denim on Denim casual look

Want a confident look why not try denim-on-denim look for an easy yet but modern stylish look as pictured here. I have played with different fabric wash and different fits to create a certain kind of sporty vibe. A basic black top, ripped jeans and basic white sneakers which makes this kind of look very trendy but yet stylish and classic. I also went added  some bling-bling too just because I can hehe as there is no wrong way to style denim.

Strip and basic on Denim

Want to turn head this spring why not try pairing your denim jeans with a stripy top or go with a basic top, the choice is yours.  As you can see I am wearing the same jeans but a different top and I have chosen a cool sunglasses as pictured here to accessorize my look. Always tuck in your top to show off your waist except if it is a crop top then you need to wear a belt just to make it more stylish.  Another alternative is to just throw on a plain black top as pictured as well.

Mixing Denim Wash

One of my first blog posts was on denim and in the post I combined separated denim wash which is another modern style vibe; wearing white denim jeans and wash blue jacket (click here for the post).
