Hello my lovelies, first and foremost Happy new year to you and I hope you are having a fantastic beginning? I started mine with a new job so I decided to share with you my basic day to day style to work.
As you know it’s winter in the UK at the moment so warmth a key factor when picking out tops to pair with my trouser. I have a few printed trousers in my wardrobe which I religiously wear to work and the first fave of mine is this checked print. I bought this last year and I absolutely love it; I paired it with a cream turtleneck long sleeves top. You can pair it with any color on the prints as well and if you want to go over the top get a similar print blazer.
In reality, I am mostly in flats shoes at work but for you, guys I went for my all-time fave open toe heel as it’s very flattering on my feet. Secretly, I do wish I can dress to work like this (in heels) but my colleagues are going to give me a stare down and then ask if I am going somewhere fancy after work. Let’s be honest, office life is not as glam as you think it is on social media.
The second fave is this brown check paperbag waist crop trouser which I have paired with a cute black top. I have always wanted to own a paperbag trouser and I am absolutely sold on it now so cheers to buying more. It snitch the right part of the waist and shapes your curves if you have my body shape though. And again, I wore this with flat shoes on a day to day and with a blazer to keep myself warm and cozy. I recently wore this with a black long sleeve turtleneck the other day to London.
Do you think prints is a basic look or not? Comments below your thought as I love reading comments.
Thank you for reading

Yes I agree prints have become a staple piece! And I love how versatile they can be. You can wear them to the office, to brunch, make them look casual or dressy. I’ve added ample amounts to my wardrobe
